Visitors will find out about not only technology advances, but also the practical steps end-users need to take to begin adopting the next generation of broadcast and media infrastructure. They will also learn about the implementation roadmap and new workflows that are now possible, and receive practical advice about transitioning from SDI to the benefits of both hybrid and all-IP infrastructures.
IABM are calling for associations, vendors and end-user broadcasters and media companies to submit a presentation synopsis now to be considered for inclusion. We are particularly seeking:
-
Presentations from broadcasters and media companies of real installations and the benefits – business and creative – they are deriving from going IP
-
Technical presentations that will serve to educate the industry on the new standards and how to implement them. The JT-NM will work with IABM on this track to ensure conformity with the roadmap

Act now to be part of the next giant step for media technology
The IP Showcase is going to be one of THE must-attend destinations at NAB Show Las Vegas this year. Sponsored by eight organizations including AES, AIMS (now merged with the MNA), IABM, JT-NM members AMWA, EBU, SMPTE and VSF, the IP Showcase is expected to play host to more than 60 companies demonstrating the benefits of IP, and producing television using the new SMPTE ST 2110 suite of standards.
At the heart of the Showcase is a theater, which offers a unique opportunity for the associations, vendors and end-user broadcasters/media organizations to present their IP technology solutions, applications and case studies to visitors.
The IP Showcase is where visitors will be able to experience the reality of IT/IP-based solutions that are now possible, with multiple suppliers working together thanks to the common roadmap for IP interoperability.
Act now to submit your presentation to be considered for inclusion; there are only four days of the show and demand for slots is bound to be high. (deadline February 4 2018)
Don’t delay or you may miss an exceptional opportunity to share your ideas with the audience that really matters.
